I have just started learning machine learning and want to practice outside class. I can follow tutorials, but I get stuck when I try to change the examples myself. I found a Machine learning tutoring service while searching for learning ideas, but I want to build my skills through practice. Should I repeat small projects until I understand them, or try new projects each week? What topics should a beginner learn first?
